CHICKEN LOLLIPOP

Chicken lollipop is an appetizer that is made from the middle(and sometimes inner)segments of chicken wings.The middle segment has one of the two bones removed, and the flesh on the segments is pushed to one end of the bone. These are then coated in a spicy red batter and deep fried. It is also a popular item in Indian Chinese cuisine, served with Szechuan sauce.


INGREDIENTS:-

Chicken wings-8
All purpose flour(maida)-1/2 cup
Cornstarch/cornflour-1/4 cup
Chopped Green Chilies-1 tbsp
Chopped Garlic-1 tbsp
Chopped Ginger-1 tbsp
Soy sauce-1 tsp
Vinegar-1 tsp
Ajinomoto-1/4 tsp
Black pepper-1/4 tsp
Chili Sauce-1/4 tsp
Salt-1/2 tsp
Eggs-2
Oil-1 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
A pinch of red colour
Water if required

FOR SAUCE-

Chopped Green Chillies-1 tbsp
Chopped Garlic-1 tsp
Chopped Ginger-1 tsp
Curry leaves-8
Oil-2 tbsp
salt as per taste

RASMALAI

Ras Malai  is a sweet dessert originating in India.The name Ras Malai comes from two parts in Hindi: "Ras" meaning "juice/juicy" and "Malai", meaning "cream".Ras Malai consists-balls (or flattened balls) of paneer(Indian cottage cheese) soaked in malai (creamy milk sauce) flavoured with cardamom,rose water and saffron.





INGREDIENTS:-

Milk-4 cups(for paneer)
Lemon Juice-2 tbsp
Sugar-1 cup
Water-4 cups
Milk-4 cups
Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
Saffron-few stands
Rose water-1/8 tsp
Sugar-1/4 cup or to taste
Chopped Pistachios for garnishing





METHOD:-

1-Pour the milk into heavy bottomed pan and bring it boil on medium flame.Stir continuously to avoid the burning of the milk at the bottom.
2-When the milk comes to boil,lower the flame and slowly add the lemon juice into the milk.Stir gently.When the milk starting curdling,turn off the flame.

PANINI CHICKEN SANDWICH

INGREDIENTS(for 2 sandwiches):-

Italian Sandwich Bread-4 slices
Onion-8 slices
Tomato-8 slices
Cucumber-8 slices
Green Sandwich Chutney(mint n coriander)-2 tbsp(see recipe here)
Grated Cheese-2 tbsp
Tomato Sauce-as per taste
Salt-1/4 tsp
Butter

TOPPING:-

Grilled chicken(see recipe here)





METHOD:-

1-Drizzle green chutney on 4 slices on bread.
2-Add sliced grilled chicken breast,tomato,onion,cucumber and cheese over 2 slices of bread.
3-Cover with remaining 2 slices,brush with butter and place on panini grill.
4-Cook for 2 min until cheese melts.Remove from heat and serve with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
