ANDA CHOP(EGG BONDA)
Egg Chop is a popular evening tea time snack in many places throughout India, which is easy to make and super yummy and delicious.So let's start cooking....
Boiled Potato-2 medium
Chopped onion-2 tbsp
Chopped ginger-2 tsp
Chopped garlic-2 tsp
Chopped green chili-2
Cumin powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Chili powder-1 tsp(for masala)+1/2 tsp(for batter)
Turmeric powder-2 pinch
Dry mango powder-1/2 tsp
Chat Masala-1 tsp
Gram flour-1 cup
Baking soda-1 pinch
Water as needed
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
1-Cut the eggs into halves and keep aside.Mash the potato and keep side.
2-Blend together the green chilies, garlic and ginger to a fine paste.
3-Add chopped onions,fry for a while,then add chili,ginger,garlic paste and fry for 2 mins.
4-Then add the mashed potato,cumin powder,coriander powder,chili powder,a pinch of turmeric powder and salt.
5--Mix on low flame and finally add the chat masala and mango powder.Remove from heat and let it cool.
6-Make a little thick batter with gram flour,chili powder,a pinch of turmeric,baking soda,salt and water as needed.
7-Divide the potato mash same as no of cut eggs.Now Fill the half the cut egg with mash potato and give a proper shape.
8-Dip it into batter and deep fry until it become golden brown.
9-Remove from oil and drain on paper towel to remove extra oil.
10-Now your egg chop is ready to eat,serve hot with tomato ketchup and enjoy.
