Grated coconut-1 cup
Apple-1(peeled and cut into small chunks)
Mango ginger-1 inch(if you don't find mango ginger then use 1/2 inch plain ginger)
Lemon juice-2 tsp(If your yogurt is taste very sour then don't add lemon juice)
Mint leaves-a handful
Roasted cumin-chili powder-1/4 tsp
Black salt-1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
Dry red chili-2
1-Crush the mint leaves and ginger,extract the juice.Keep aside.
2-In a bowl whisk yogurt,add cumin-chili powder,mint,ginger and lemon juice,sugar,black salt,salt and 3-4 tbs water.Mix well and keep aside.
3-Grind the apple chunks,grated coconut and green chili(add water if required)and mix well with yogurt mixture.
4-Heat the oil in a pan,add dry chilies,curry leaves and panch phutan.When they start to pop,pour over the yogurt-coconut mixture.
5-Serve with rice,paratha,chakuli pitha,dosa,bara as a side dish.
(If you want then garnish with some pomegranate seeds or chopped grapes or raisins or mint leaves or grated coconut)
