Okra/Lady's finger/Bhindi is a popular health food due to its high fiber, vitamin C, and folate content.Okra is also known for being high in antioxidants. Okra is also a good source of calcium and potassium.


Okra/Lady's finger/Bhindi-10
Thick yogurt(dahi)-2 tbsp
Ginger-garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Kasoori Methi Leaves-1/4 tsp
Roasted Cumin seeds powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric-a pinch
Chili powder-1/8 tsp
Black pepper-2 pinch
Gram flour(Besan)-2 tbsp+2 pinch
Corn flour-2 pinch
Oil-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste


1-Wash the okra(bhindi) in water properly.Wipe them dry with a paper towel.Cut top and tail of the bhindi then slice from center.

2-In a bowl mix yogurt,gram flour,ginger-garlic paste,kasoori methi leaves,roasted cumin seeds powder,turmeric powder,chili powder,oil and salt,make a smooth batter.

3-Put okra into the batter and toss until all the okra is well coated with the batter.

 4-Grease one microwave plate and arrange okra/bhindi pieces in one layer.

Rajma is a popular North Indian vegetarian dish consisting of red kidney beans in a thick gravy with lots of Indian whole spices and usually served with rice and roti.
Although the kidney bean is not of Indian origin,it is a part of regular diet in northern regions Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Kashmir, Delhi, and Himachal Pradesh.
This dish developed after the red kidney bean was brought to the Indian subcontinent from Central Mexico and Guatemala.Being a popular dish,it is prepared on important occasions.
About 100 grams of boiled Rajma beans contain 140 calories. 5.7 grams of protein, 5.9 grams of fat and nearly 17.8 grams of carbohydrate.
